Bald Rock National Park

Regarded as the largest granite monolith in Australia, Bald Rock sits on the Queensland/New South Wales border, just inside the southern state. The forest around Bald Rock prevents visitors getting a good view from the ground but it is easily climbed for those with a reasonable level of fitness. The track to the top is about 3km and after the initial climb the going is easy. Bald Rock rises 260m above the surrounding bush, is 750m long and about 500m wide.
