Belougery Spire

Belougery Spire is an imposing sight from the track to the Grand High Tops. This photo was taken about halfway up the track from the bed of Spirey Creek to the Breadknife. Belougery Spire is a trachyte plug which formed when thick lava solidified in a crack in the ancient volcano that once covered the area.
