Crater Bluff

The imposing 250m-high face of Crater Bluff as seen from the Grand High Tops. This impressive feature is a plug of trachyte which formed when a thick lava solidified inside in the ancient shield volcano that once covered the area. Just to the right of Crater Bluff, about 5km away, is Tonduron Spire.
