Grafton Bridge

Opened in 1932, Grafton Bridge replaced ferries in providing a link across
the Clarence River for people, goods and even railway trains. At the time, it was the
second biggest bridge built in Australia with Australian-made components, after
the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The New South Wales RTA is looking at building a second bridge across
the Clarence River at Grafton and has identified two possible routes.
